Namie Amuro's farewell dome tour "Namie Amuro Final Tour 2018 ~ Finally ~" officially kick-started on February 17 (Saturday) at Nagoya, Aichi.
This will be Amuro's final dome tour before she retires on September 16th 2018. Summing up the 17 shows in Japan with an expected attendance of 750 thousand and the ６shows overseas reaching 50 thousand people, the box office is estimated to achive 800 thousand people in total, breaking the record as the highest-grossing concert tours by Japan's domestic solo artists in history. In correspondence to the 750 thousand seats provided, the registration for Amuro's domestic dome tour in Japan flooded with more than 5.1 million applications almost instantaneously. The Nagoya Dome was packed with lucky fans whom succeeded in getting the Premium Tickets for the first concert of the Tour.
The set list was composed of 24 selected songs out of the top voted songs from 2.8 million song requests by fans, as well as 6 newly recorded songs in the double million selling "Finally"~ALL TIME BEST ALBUM. This was undoubtedly the best live performance that enabled to trace Amuro Namie's 25 years of singing career.
Wearing a pure white dress, Amuro performed classics like "CAN YOU CELEBRATE?" which is a song familiar to many. And incredibly, in one of her representative songs "Chase the Chance" as well as many more of her renown songs, both Amuro Namie from the present and the past actually "performed together". Also, she presented "Hero", the theme song for the NHK Rio de Janeiro Olympic Paralympic Games last year that became a hit and "Finally", the title song for Amuro's latest greatest hit album. With the combination of past and present hit tracks, the concert reveals an extravagant of up to 30 songs. As the concert reaches its end, Amuro shout "Let's go wild Nagoya!" living up the crowd to the next level as the atmosphere immediately climaxed.

In addition, there were special surprises everywhere such as an extra animation of their special collabration "Amuro Namie × ONE PIECE" was projected as the introductory when performing "Hope", the theme song of the airing TV anime "ONE PIECE" (Fuji TV series).
Amuro was charmed the audience in her final concert with up-tempo songs with her immpresive dance performances and ballad songs with her soft yet sonorous singing and ocassional cute smiles. The fans were deeply struck by waves of emotion as many of them were spotted tearing up and crying.
This tour started from Nagoya Dome, and is scheduled to end on June 3 at Tokyo Dome.
